“The bride white of hair stoops over her cane
Her footsteps uncertain need guiding
While down the church aisle with a wan-toothless smile
The groom in a wheelchair comes riding.
Now who is this elderly couple thus wed?
You’ll find when you closely explore it
That here is the rare, most conservative pair
Who waited ’til they could afford it!”

This poem speaks of a couple who waited for the “right time” when finances, forcasts, and planning accumulated into the perfect opportunity to marry each other. Unfortunately for them, that time came at the end of their long lives, at a point where some might say was too late.

Often we find oursleves waiting for the “right time” to start our most valued projects. “I want to loose weight, but I’ll start when the New Year comes” or “I want to start training martial arts, but I will wait to get in shape first.” In our minds these excuses seem valid, right? Unfortunately these excuses only prolong our journey towards success and the persuit of our dreams. Procrastination is the number one dream killer .  After all, we find oursleves waiting for the perfcet day, where all of the stars align. Then and only then will we start right?!

Here’s the bad news.  That day will never come.  There will never be a better time other than NOW to start.  Why?  Because we cannot predict what the future will actually hold.  How do we know that when the New Year comes, another obstacle won’t step in our path toward becoming fit? The truth is that there will always be obstacles in your way when reaching for what you truly want.
Not to worry though!  Here’s the GOOD news!  I know the perfect time to start your path to success.  Are you ready to hear it? Drum roll please….
The answer is NOW!!!
That’s right, NOW!  Make a move towards your wildest dreams RIGHT NOW!!!
Now let’s be reasonable.  If your goal for example is to loose 30 pounds or become a world champion, it’s not going to happen overnight.  Sorry, i am not a magician, yet.  Everyone; however, can make ONE step in the right direction, even if it is small.  If fitness is your goal, for example, you can start parking further away from your job in order to walk a little more everyday.  If you want to be a champion, perhaps, setting up an apointment with your coach to discuss your goals and set up a training camp.  If you aren’t currently training in a gym, my STRONG suggestion is to join a reputable gym.  Just my two cents.
Whatever your goal, the most powerful thing that you can do is START!  Make a step in that direction.  You will be amazed at how powerful the act of GETTING STARTED can be on your road to success.
